Kathryn Newton is an American actress who received the Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actress in a Feature Film for her performance in Paranormal Activity 4 (2012). She gained prominence through her roles in television series such as Louise Brooks in Gary Unmarried (2008–2010) and Abigail Carlson in Big Little Lies (2017–2019). Newton has also appeared in notable films including Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017), Blockers (2018), and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023). Her work extends to the Netflix series The Society (2019) and the AMC drama Halt and Catch Fire (2016–2017). In addition to her acting career, she will star in Abigail (2024).
