Katherine Heigl is an American actress who made her film debut in That Night (1992). She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Dr. Izzie Stevens on the ABC series Grey's Anatomy from 2005 to 2010, earning a Primetime Emmy Award in 2007. Heigl has starred in various successful romantic comedies, including Knocked Up (2007), 27 Dresses (2008), and The Ugly Truth (2009). In addition to her film work, she has lent her voice to the animated features The Nut Job (2014) and its sequel, The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature (2017). Heigl also had a significant role in the final seasons of the series Suits (2018–2019).
