Kate Freund is a filmmaker who directed the web series Le Typewriter, which received a Webby nomination in 2010. She began her creative journey at fourteen by writing and directing short films alongside her brother, Matthew Freund. After completing her education at Malibu High School, she graduated from the University of Southern California. Freund was honored with the 'Best Music Video' award at the LA Femme International Film Festival in 2015. She also worked on the film Pretty Lethal, released in 2026.
