Karen Gillan is a Scottish actress and filmmaker who played Amy Pond in the television series Doctor Who (2010–2013). She began her film career with roles in Outcast (2010) and Not Another Happy Ending (2013) before gaining prominence in Hollywood with Oculus (2013) and the sitcom Selfie (2014). Gillan portrayed Nebula in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appearing in films such as Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
