Kang Shin-il is a South Korean actor who made his film debut in Chilsu and Mansu (1988). He initially graduated with a degree in electronic engineering but shifted his focus to acting, forming a theater troupe called Testimony. Kang gained recognition as a stage performer in productions like Kimchigook Goes Crazy and Chronicles of Han. He has appeared in numerous films and television series, including roles in Always (2011), Pandora (2016), and Descendants of the Sun (2016). After battling liver cancer in 2007, he returned to acting following recovery. Kang has also worked in the Public Enemy franchise directed by Kang Woo-suk.
