Kamini Kaushal is a Hindi film and television actress who gained recognition for her performance in Neecha Nagar, which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 1946. She received the Filmfare Best Actress Award in 1955 for her role in Biraj Bahu. Throughout her career, she has appeared in numerous films, including Purab Aur Pachhim (1970), Laaga Chunari Mein Daag (2007), Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega (2000), and more recently, Chennai Express (2013) and Laal Singh Chaddha (2022).
