Jyothika Sahoo is an Indian actress who made her film debut in Rewind (2023). Originally named Sumitra Baliarsingh, she hails from Kamaguru, Odisha. Jyothika completed her 10th grade at Kamaguru Nodal High School in 2021 and briefly attended Rama Chandra Kalpana Mahavidyalaya for her 11th standard before leaving in 2022. She is the eldest daughter of Gagan Bihari Baliarsingh, a tailorman and garments shop owner, and Manjulata Baliarsingh. Jyothika has two younger siblings, Madhusmita and Viswajit Baliarsingh. In her early career, she transitioned from being a content creator to acting in films.
