Julie Michaels is the first woman nominated for a Prime-Time Emmy Award for Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Comedy or Variety Show. She gained recognition for her memorable role opposite Patrick Swayze in Road House (1989) and demonstrated her skills in the graphic fight scene with Keanu Reeves in Point Break (1991). Michaels has appeared in various films, including Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993), The Scorpion King (2002), and Batman & Robin (1997). In addition to acting, she has excelled as a stunt coordinator and producer, co-executive producing the award-winning series After Forever. Michaels received the Action Icon Award in 2017.
