Julie Brown is an American actress and comedian who gained prominence in the 1980s with her distinctive "valley girl" persona and sharp celebrity parodies. She achieved cult success with novelty songs such as "Homecoming Queen's Got a Gun" and "'Cause I'm a Blond." In addition to her music career, she appeared in the film "Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment" (1985). To distinguish herself from British MTV personality Downtown Julie Brown, she was often called "West Coast Julie Brown" or "Miss Julie Brown."
