Julian Richings is a British-Canadian character actor who appeared in over 225 films and television series. He trained in drama at the University of Exeter and began his acting career in the UK before relocating to Toronto in 1984. In the series Todd and the Book of Pure Evil, he portrayed both the Hooded Leader and Atticus Murphy Senior, and in the series Patriot, he played Peter Icabod across 15 episodes. His film credits include Vicious Fun (2021), Spare Parts (2020), and Wickensburg (2022). Richings also remains active in theater, having performed in the play Mustard at Toronto’s Tarragon Theatre in 2016.
