Julian Beck was an American actor who co-founded and directed the Living Theatre. He portrayed Reverend Henry Kane in the supernatural horror film Poltergeist II: The Other Side (1986). Beck also appeared in Nine 1/2 Weeks (1986) and worked as a stage director, poet, and painter. Beck's legacy includes his influential role in experimental theatre and film.
