Julian Barratt is an English comedian, actor, and musician who was part of the comedy troupe The Mighty Boosh. He began his career in stand-up comedy while studying at the University of Reading, where he first met his collaborator Noel Fielding in 1997. Barratt gained fame through The Mighty Boosh, which transitioned from stage to radio and then to a television series that aired from 2004 to 2007. He has also appeared in titles such as Nathan Barley, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, and the sitcom Flowers. In 2022, he featured in the film Rogue Agent. Barratt co-wrote and starred in the 2017 film Mindhorn.
