Julia Sawalha is an English actress who voiced Ginger in Chicken Run (2000). She gained prominence for her portrayal of Saffron "Saffy" Monsoon in the BBC sitcom Absolutely Fabulous. Her other notable roles include Lynda Day in Press Gang, Lydia Bennet in the 1995 adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, and Dorcas Lane in Lark Rise to Candleford. Additionally, she appeared as Carla Borrego in Jonathan Creek and Jan Ward in the 2014 mystery Remember Me. Sawalha's diverse performances have made her a familiar face in British television.
