Julia Fox is an Italian-American actress and filmmaker who made her feature film debut in the 2019 film Uncut Gems, where she portrayed a showroom saleswoman and the mistress of the main character, Howard Ratner. She has also starred in PVT Chat (2021), and played Vanessa Capelli in No Sudden Move (2021), directed by Steven Soderbergh. Fox launched a successful women's knitwear line and has worked as a photographer and painter. In addition to her acting career, she wrote and directed the short film Fantasy Girls. Fox was nominated for the Breakthrough Actor Award at the 2019 Gotham Awards for her role in Uncut Gems.
