Julia Davis is an English actress, comedian, director, and writer who won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Comedy Writing for Hunderby in 2013. She has been nominated for nine BAFTA TV Awards and has received multiple accolades, including two RTS Awards and three British Comedy Awards. Davis gained recognition for her role as Dawn Sutcliffe in Gavin & Stacey (2007–2009, 2019, 2024) and has appeared in films such as Love Actually (2003), Cemetery Junction (2010), Four Lions (2010), and Phantom Thread (2017). She also created and starred in the dark comedy series Nighty Night and directed the comedy Camping, which was nominated for Best Scripted Comedy at the BAFTA TV Awards in 2017.
