Jovan Adepo is a British-born American actor who portrayed Cory Maxson in the film adaptation of Fences (2016). He gained further recognition for his roles in Overlord (2018) and as Lionel Jefferson in the CBS special All in the Family/The Jeffersons. Adepo appeared in the series When They See Us and played Michael Murphy in HBO's The Leftovers. He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for his performance as Hooded Justice in Watchmen (2019). His recent projects include Babylon (2022) and To Catch a Killer (2023).
