Joshua Okamoto is a Japanese-born Mexican actor who joined the Saw franchise as Dr. Diego in Saw X (2023). He graduated from the Acting and Performing Arts Career at CasAzul Argos between 2015 and 2018. His early exposure to acting came from accompanying his mother, Elizabeth Brambila Barba, a noted theater actress, to her rehearsals. In theater, he has appeared in productions such as 41 Detonaciones contra la puerta de un Clóset (2019) and Quiero Volverme Supernova (2019). His television credits include roles in Yo soy Yo and Narcos, where he portrayed the character Manuel. Okamoto's film work also includes Club de los Insomnes and Con olor a Guanajuato.
