Jonathon Young is a Canadian actor who portrayed Nikola Tesla in the SyFy series Sanctuary. He has appeared in notable productions such as The Fog (2005), Eureka, and Stargate Atlantis. Young is also a prominent stage actor and serves as the artistic director and co-founder of the Electric Company Theatre in Vancouver, where he frequently acts and writes. Raised in British Columbia, he developed a passion for theatre early on, inspired by his father's involvement in community theatre. A graduate of Studio 58 at Langara College, he has won the Jessie Richardson Award three times. His play Palace Grand was produced by Vancouver’s PuSh International Performing Arts Festival in 2008.
