Jonathan Hyde is an Australian-born English actor who portrayed J. Bruce Ismay in Titanic (1997). He has had a diverse career in film and television, appearing in notable works such as Anaconda (1997), Ri¢hie Ri¢h (1994), and the miniseries Tokyo Trial (2017). Hyde is also a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and played Ferdinand in The Duchess of Malfi in 1985. His extensive filmography includes roles in The Mummy and Jumanji. Hyde has collaborated with Ian McKellen in King Lear for the RSC.
