Jonathan Harris was an American character actor who provided the voice for the character Manny in A Bug's Life (1998). His extensive career featured over 500 appearances in both film and television, including notable roles such as Bradford Webster in the TV adaptation of The Third Man and Dr. Zachary Smith in the 1960s series Lost in Space. Harris began his acting journey at 24, performing in plays at the Millpond Playhouse after creating a fake résumé. He gained prominence on Broadway with a leading role in The Heart of a City in 1942 and starred in A Flag Is Born alongside Marlon Brando in 1946. Harris also participated in celebrations for Lost in Space, including a notable reunion event in 1990.
