Jonathan Groff is an American actor and singer who made his film debut as Michael Lang in Ang Lee's Taking Woodstock (2009). He received a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical in 2024 for his role as Franklin Shepard in the revival of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along. Groff voiced both Kristoff and Sven in Disney's animated Frozen franchise, including Frozen II (2019). His television work includes portraying FBI Special Agent Holden Ford in Netflix's Mindhunter (2017–19) and starring as Patrick Murray in HBO's Looking (2014–15). He also appeared in The Matrix Resurrections (2021) and Knock at the Cabin (2023). Groff was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for his performance in the live stage recording of Hamilton (2020).
