Jonathan Freeman is an American actor, puppeteer, and singer who voiced Jafar in Disney's Aladdin franchise. He portrayed this character in four animated films and appeared in various related media, including video games and a Broadway musical. Freeman's film credits include Forever, Lulu (1987), The Ice Storm (1997), and The High Note (2020). On television, he played Tito Swing in the PBS series Shining Time Station and Rollie Pruitt in AMC's Remember WENN. He has a strong background in theater, with notable Broadway performances in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and She Loves Me, the latter earning him a Tony nomination.
