Jonathan Daniel Brown is an American actor and director who starred as J. B. in Project X (2012). He began his career with this role after being selected from a national open casting call, alongside fellow newcomers Thomas Mann and Oliver Cooper. In 2014, he took on the lead role in Kid Cannabis, further establishing his presence in the industry. Brown made his directorial debut with Horseshoe Theory in 2017, which earned a jury prize at the Slamdance Film Festival. He was also involved with the leftist pop-culture podcast Struggle Session, although he departed from the show in February 2019.
