Jonathan Seda is an American actor of Puerto Rican descent who portrayed Detective Antonio Dawson in NBC's Chicago P.D. Seda's acting career began with a role in Gladiator in 1992, after which he appeared in various films, including Selena (1997) as Chris Pérez and Undisputed (2002). He also featured in Bullet to the Head (2012) and Primal Fear (1996). In addition to his film work, Seda played legendary Marine John Basilone in the miniseries The Pacific, produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. He portrayed Detective Paul Falsone on NBC's Homicide: Life on the Street.
