Jon F. Merz is an American author and actor who plays Mr. Olsen in Mother/Android (2021). After completing his education at Boston Latin School, he attended UMass/Boston, focusing on Japanese and East Asian Studies. Merz served in the United States Air Force and later worked in corporate investigations for Fortune 500 companies. A dedicated martial artist, he achieved a 5th degree black belt in Togakure-ryu Ninjutsu in 2003. His acting career began in 2014, and he has published over 40 novels. His diverse experiences include starring in the mini-series The Cars That Made America (2017).
