John Turturro is an American-Italian actor who won the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival for his role in Barton Fink (1991). He began his on-screen acting career in the early 1980s and gained critical acclaim with Five Corners (1987). Turturro's notable performances include Herb Stempel in Quiz Show (1994), Jesus Quintana in The Big Lebowski (1998), and Seymour Simmons in the Transformers series, which includes Transformers (2007) and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). He also appeared in Anger Management (2003) and The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 (2009). Turturro directed Mac (1992), which received the Golden Camera Award at Cannes.
