John Stockwell is an American actor who made his feature film debut in So Fine (1981). He gained recognition for his roles in notable films such as Losin' It (1983) as Spider, Christine (1983) as Dennis Guilder, and Top Gun (1986) as Cougar. Stockwell also starred in My Science Project (1985) and appeared in various television series including The Young Riders and Friday the 13th: The Series. In addition to acting, he has directed several films, including Blue Crush (2002) and Into the Blue (2005). Stockwell worked on Kickboxer: Vengeance (2016).
