John Mulaney is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and producer who gained fame for his work as a writer on the NBC series Saturday Night Live from 2008 to 2013, where he co-created the character Stefon. He has released several stand-up specials, including Kid Gorgeous (2018), which earned him a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special. Mulaney has also lent his voice to various animated characters, notably Peter Porker / Spider-Ham in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and Andrew Glouberman in Big Mouth (2017–2025). In addition to his stand-up and voice work, he co-executive produced and acted in the mockumentary series Documentary Now! (2015–2022).
