John McConnell is an American actor who portrayed Ignatius J. Reilly in the adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel A Confederacy of Dunces. He has appeared in over 40 films, including the Coen Brothers' O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) and The Reaping (2007).
