John Leguizamo is a Colombian-American stand-up comedian, actor, and film producer who gained prominence for his role as Benny Blanco in Carlito's Way (1993). He began his career in New York City and has since appeared in over 100 films, including notable titles such as Spawn (1997), Moulin Rouge! (2001), and The Menu (2022). Leguizamo also lent his voice to characters in animated films, portraying Sid the Sloth in the Ice Age series and Bruno Madrigal in Encanto (2021). His television work includes the Emmy-winning Freak (1998) and appearances in ER and The Mandalorian. He received a Special Tony Award in 2018.
