John Krasinski is an American actor, film director, and writer who directed and co-wrote A Quiet Place (2018). He gained fame for his role as Jim Halpert in the NBC sitcom The Office, which aired from 2005 to 2013. Krasinski's film credits include 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016), The Holiday (2006), and A Quiet Place Part II (2021).
