John Heard is an American actor who made his film debut in Between the Lines (1977). He gained significant recognition for portraying Peter McCallister in the Home Alone series, appearing in both Home Alone (1990) and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992). Heard's filmography includes notable titles such as Awakenings (1990), Snake Eyes (1998), and O (2001). In addition to his film work, he received an Emmy Award nomination in 1999 for his guest role as Vin Makazian on The Sopranos (1999–2004).
