John Frusciante is an American musician who was the guitarist for the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers during three distinct periods: from 1988 to 1992, 1998 to 2009, and again starting in 2019. He has released eleven solo albums and five EPs that showcase a range of styles including experimental rock and ambient music.
