John Fraser is a Scottish actor who played Lord Alfred Douglas in The Trials of Oscar Wilde (1960). He began his career with a notable role as Inigo Jollifant in The Good Companions (1957) and continued to take on significant parts in films such as El Cid (1961), Repulsion (1965), and Isadora (1968). Fraser also made guest appearances in various television series, including Danger Man (1964) and Doctor Who (1981). In addition to his acting career, he authored an autobiography titled Close Up in 2004, where he candidly discussed his experiences and relationships. His performance in El Cid remains a highlight of his filmography.
