John Cleese is an English actor and comedian who was a member of the Monty Python comedy troupe, participating in the sketch show Monty Python's Flying Circus and its films, including Holy Grail and Life of Brian. He gained fame through his work on the British sitcom Fawlty Towers, which he co-wrote and starred in with Connie Booth. Cleese has appeared in various films such as A Fish Called Wanda (1988), Clockwise (1986), and two Harry Potter films. His filmography also includes roles in the James Bond films The World Is Not Enough (1999) and Die Another Day (2002), as well as the animated feature Shrek Forever After (2010). Cleese co-founded the production company Video Arts, which produced training films.
