John Capodice was an American character actor who began his career in the late 1970s with his first role in the soap opera Ryan's Hope. He made notable appearances in various television series, including Seinfeld, Law & Order, and The West Wing, and appeared in commercials, such as the Polly-O String Cheese ad. In film, he portrayed characters in titles like Family Business (1989), The Doors (1991), and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994). Capodice also had a role in the Broadway production of Requiem For a Heavyweight. He is remembered for his performance as a bookmaker in See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989).
