S.M. Joe Simon is an Indian film director, actor, lyricist, screenplay and story writer known for his work in Kannada cinema with over 100 films. His directorial works include Mr. Vasu (1995), Wanted (1993), and Ravivarma (1992). Simon has acted in various films, including Maruthi Nagar Police Station (2023). He has also served as the Vice-president of the Kannada Film Directors Association (KANFIDA).
