Joe Ranft was an American screenwriter and animator at Pixar Animation Studios. He worked on notable films such as Finding Nemo (2003) and Cars (2006). Ranft also served as a storyboard artist and voice actor during his career, collaborating with Disney at Walt Disney Animation Studios and Disney Television Animation. His brother, Jerome Ranft, is a sculptor who has been involved in several Pixar projects.
