Joe Mantegna is an American actor who starred as mob boss Fat Tony in the animated series The Simpsons, beginning with the 1991 episode "Bart the Murderer". His notable film credits include roles in Three Amigos (1986), The Godfather Part III (1990), and Bugsy (1991). Mantegna has received Emmy Award nominations for his performances in miniseries such as The Last Don (1997) and The Starter Wife (2007). He has also served as an executive producer and director for various projects, including Corduroy (1984) and Lakeboat (2000). In addition to his film work, he plays FBI Special Agent David Rossi in the CBS series Criminal Minds. Mantegna has lent his voice to several animated projects, including Cars 2 (2011).
