Joe Jonas is an American singer, songwriter, and actor who gained prominence as a member of the Jonas Brothers pop rock band. The group released their debut album, It's About Time, in 2006, followed by their breakthrough self-titled album in 2007. Jonas starred in the Disney Channel musical film Camp Rock (2008) and its sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010), further solidifying his fame. He also appeared in the television series Jonas (2009–2010) and Grease Live (2016). In addition to his music career, he lent his voice to the character of Sebastian in Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (2018). Joe Jonas formed the band DNCE in 2015, achieving success with their hit single, "Cake by the Ocean."
