Joe Alwyn is an English actor who made his feature film debut in Ang Lee's war drama Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk (2016). He has appeared in notable films such as The Favourite (2018), Boy Erased (2018), and Harriet (2019). Alwyn also starred in The Last Letter from Your Lover (2021) and will appear in The Brutalist (2024). Raised in North London, he pursued acting during his teenage years and holds degrees in English literature and drama. Alwyn is also a Grammy Award-winning songwriter and received the Trophée Chopard at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
