Jodie Comer is an English actress who began her career in the 2008 series The Royal Today. She gained prominence through her roles in My Mad Fat Diary (2013–2015) and Doctor Foster (2015–2017), and starred in the miniseries Thirteen (2016). From 2018 to 2022, she portrayed the character Villanelle in the BBC America series Killing Eve, earning both a BAFTA Television Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. Comer transitioned to film with significant roles in Free Guy (2021) and The Last Duel (2021). She made her West End debut in the play Prima Facie in 2022, which later transferred to Broadway, where she received a Tony Award.
