Joanne Samuel is an Australian actress who portrayed the screen wife of Mel Gibson in the 1979 film Mad Max. She appeared in various police dramas, including Matlock Police and Homicide, and was a regular on soap operas such as Class of '74, The Sullivans, and The Young Doctors. After her departure from The Young Doctors, she joined the cast of Skyways as Kelly Morgan-Young. Samuel also made guest appearances in shows like Hey Dad! and All Saints, and played a school principal in The Wiggles Movie. She has since retired from acting and is involved in her local Baptist church. Samuel's filmography includes The Legend of The Five (2020).
