Joan Freeman is an American actress who made her film debut in 1949. She was a regular on the ABC series Bus Stop, portraying Elma Gahrigner alongside Marilyn Maxwell and Buddy Ebsen. Freeman starred in the 1962 film Panic in Year Zero! and played Elvis Presley's love interest in Roustabout (1964) and appeared with Roy Orbison in The Fastest Guitar Alive (1967). She also featured in The Reluctant Astronaut (1967) opposite Don Knotts and co-starred in the CBS series Code R (1977). Her final film role was as Mrs. Jarvis in Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984).
