Joan Chen is a Chinese American actress who gained fame for her role in the 1979 film Little Flower. She received international recognition for her performance in The Last Emperor (1987), which won an Academy Award. Chen has appeared in notable films such as Jasmine Women (2004), Hero (2022), and Saving Face, as well as in the television series Twin Peaks.
