Jimmy Yuill is a Scottish actor who portrayed Doug Kersey in the television series Wycliffe. He is associated with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Renaissance Theatre Company. Yuill has collaborated with Kenneth Branagh on several films and played the Chief Constable in The Raven alongside John Cusack. His theatre work includes a notable performance as Creon in Sophocles' Antigone at The Tron Theatre in Glasgow. In addition to acting, he composed music for A Midwinter's Tale and Swan Song. Yuill's recent appearance in The Kindred (2021) adds to his diverse body of work.
