Jim Sturgess is an English actor and singer-songwriter who gained prominence with his role as Jude in the musical romance drama Across the Universe (2007). He starred as Ben Campbell in the 2008 film 21 and appeared in the crime drama Crossing Over (2009) alongside Harrison Ford. Sturgess played a significant role in The Way Back (2010), directed by Peter Weir, and co-starred in the epic science fiction film Cloud Atlas (2012). His filmography also includes Geostorm (2017) and The Other Boleyn Girl (2008).
