Jesse Eisenberg is an American actor and filmmaker who gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network (2010). He began his career in television with the series Get Real (1999–2000) and made his film debut in Roger Dodger (2002). Eisenberg has appeared in a variety of films, including Zombieland (2009), Now You See Me (2013), and its sequel Now You See Me 2 (2016). He also played Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and lent his voice to the animated films Rio (2011) and Rio 2 (2014). In addition to acting, Eisenberg has directed and written for film and theater, including his directorial debut When You Finish Saving the World.
