Jerrika Hinton is an American actress who made her film debut in the drama Rain (2006). She graduated with honors from Southern Methodist University, where she studied theater and drama. Hinton gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Dr. Stephanie Edwards in the popular series Grey's Anatomy, appearing in over 117 episodes from 2012 to 2017. Her television credits also include roles in Hunters (2020–2023), Here and Now (2018), and Servant (2019–2023). In film, she has appeared in The Roommate (2011) and The Piano Lesson (2024). Hinton holds a bachelor's degree with honors in liberal arts.
