Jeremy Sumpter is an American actor who played the title role in the 2003 live-action film Peter Pan. He had a recurring role as J. D. McCoy in the NBC series Friday Night Lights from 2008 to 2010. His filmography includes performances in Excision (2012), Into the Storm (2014), and Stakeout (2019). Sumpter co-starred with AnnaSophia Robb and Helen Hunt in the film Soul Surfer.
